The main swimming pool at Riad Assakina is situated to one side of the central courtyard : part-covered by a beautiful carved ceiling and flanked by a pair of lemon trees. Warmed by the morning sun, it is the perfect place to swim, relax and cool-off.
It's fountain, which pours from the base of a magnificent ornamental horse, fills the Riad with that gentle sound so treasured for generations. In the evenings, the illuminated waters - strewn with rose petals and floating candles - provide a fitting backdrop to romantic dining.
