Afternoon Tea

At Riad Assakina, when you return from a busy day's sightseeing you will be offered complimentary Moroccan tea and pastries, to be enjoyed in the courtyard; on the terrace; in your room; or wherever you like! If you happen to have stayed at home to relax and enjoy the Riad, one of the team will come to find you at teatime and offer you the same little treat.

It is surprising how, even in the hottest weather, a glass of steaming Moroccan mint tea - served with traditional local flourish - can refresh the body and revive the spirit.

When served with some delicious local Moroccan pastries, it's a perfect combination.

Little Luxuries in your Room

Your room has been designed to be a beautiful, spacious and inviting place to relax during your time with us.

This is, after all, "your residence in Marrakech".

Nothing but the highest quality furniture and furnishings have been used: from luxury English beds and finest Egyptian cotton linen; to hand woven, fully-lined Moroccan silk curtains; and major pieces of exotic art from the High Atlas, Africa and beyond.

Fresh fruit and flowers are provided daily in every room; and, upon your arrival, an aromatic candle will be waiting for you to enjoy during your stay, or take home as a gift.

Wi-Fi & Laptop

All guests are welcome to access the internet through our WEP-encrypted wifi network.

With two separate wireless access points - one on the ground floor and one on the terrace - coverage is excellent in all areas of the Riad, enabling trouble-free surfing whether you are sunbathing; relaxing in your room; or cooling off by the pool.

Access is completely free of charge.
If you do not have your own laptop, the Riad also offers the facility of a shared laptop, again free of charge.

Restaurant & Taxi Bookings

If you need help with recommendations or reservations at any of Marrakech's many fabulous restaurants, bars or clubs, our staff will be there to provide assistance in making sure you find exactly what you want.

If your choice of venue for the night is not within an easy stroll - and many are - one of our team will also gladly arrange a taxi to take you directly there; and also to pick you up at the end of the evening, if you require.

Whether you are looking for a guide to help you explore the fascinating old Medina, with its bewildering maze of alleyways and secret treasures; or are looking to journey further afield - to visit the beautiful Ourika valley; trek the High Atlas Mountains; or maybe spend some time in the awesome Sahara - our experienced staff can provide invaluable help and assistance in organizing guides and tours to help you make the most of your time.

To make sure that your journey is hassle free, you may pre-book your airport transfers with us .

We can then ensure that a friendly and reliable driver will meet you at the airport and deliver you and your luggage safely to our front door.
